Derek J Fiedler | How to REST & WORK during Isolation @DerekJFiedler | Uploaded April 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Looking for an understanding of how to work and how to rest during the worldwide lent - aka coronovirus (covid-19) pandemic and shelter in place order - which has now been extended through May 2020? In this video, Derek explains how the balance of rest (time) and work (space) is inevitable.
Examples from my two-year-old's nap time, Israel's forced rest via foreign captivity, an extreme sales agent, and an overloaded cargo vessel help explain the work/rest balance.
Too much work leads to the domain of time ushering forth cyclical change and transformation in the form of intentional or catastrophic rest. And excessive rest leads to extreme responses from the domain of space (work) like social unrest and tyrannical government order.
