You begin the day knowing exactly what you want to accomplish. Then the meetings, messages, emails and interruptions begin. By lunchtime, you’ve lost track of what matters and have no idea how to get the day back under control.

In this video, I show you a simple paper-based daily planning method that gives you one clear place to return to whenever your day is disrupted.

You don’t need an expensive planner. A basic notebook is enough. By writing down your appointments, choosing two or three essential tasks and leaving space to capture notes, you create a realistic roadmap for the day—without abandoning the advantages of your digital tools.

If you would like to build a complete system combining digital tools with notebooks, pens and paper, take a look at my Hybrid Productivity Course:

Try this daily planning method for seven days and see whether it helps you feel calmer, more focused and more in control of your day.
