You can reset your Windows 10 PC to factory settings to make your computer work as if it is brand new again. Windows 10's factory reset feature gives you the option to keep your files or to remove everything.

If you choose to use the "Keep My Files Option," it is important to remember that it only keeps files, and it will remove your apps.

When you try to reset your Windows 10 computer to factory settings, you will also get an option to do so via a cloud download or local reinstall.

In most cases, the cloud download option is best because it installs the newest system files from Microsoft's servers. If you have fast Internet, it is also faster than the local reinstall option.

It is also good to reset your computer via cloud download, because in some cases local reinstall doesn't work due to corrupt local system files.

You should use the Local Reinstall option if your Internet is slow.
