Here is a tutorial on how to replicate the comic book style featured in Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse in After Effects.

There are many different ways to accomplish this style which includes half tone pattern for highlights, and cross hatching for the shadows. We do this without any additional plugins or add ons. All 100% executed inside Adobe After Effects.

After making this spider man head, in the next video we'll look at rigging up this head for animation with Joysticks n' Sliders.
