In this video, we are going to see how to replace broken bumper/shoulder buttons (LB/RB) on your Xbox One controller. This controller is a 1697 model but the fix would be the same for an Elite 1 controller. The fix would also be really similar on a Xbox One 1708 controller, the Elite 2 controller, the Xbox Series X controller or the Xbox Series S controller. Just make to buy the right part and be patient while changing it.

Lets fix Controller #1 of Joblot #3 that moves forward when you are pressing L2. This fix also works if you are aiming up when pressing L2 or if your R2 trigger interacts with your left or right stick (most common error seems to be R2 makes you go left). You just need to work on the corresponding axis/potentiometer to fix your problem !
I also suggest that you try to reset your controller before attempting that kind of repair.
