I had several issues with my 1200W electric mower:
1) Power switch couldn't work well
2) Driving belt broke -
3) -due to loose plastic gear
Fortunately I had a belt from dead 1000W mower and made a spacer to put between a knife and a gear. On top of all that i equipped it with a 1W led bulb which light up as soon as you plug it in. For the broken switch I just used 1$ lamp switch(6A) which fits the bill perfectly. Of course there is some insulating tape and a hot glue:
