Note, once you remove this speaker, it's probably not getting back on so do this at your own risk. It'll probably void any warranty too.
Sorry for the jittery video but I'm doing this as half assed as possible.
Just a heads up - batteries last about 3-5 years so you may want to put a date on your UPS so you'll know when to replace the batteries.
Remove the speaker, alarm and beeping from an APC UPS 550. Note the alarm is to notify you of a power outage - so if you need it, don't do this. Some of us know the power is out when our lights turn off so we don't want it.
Mute, silence your UPS.
