By default, whenever Windows Update runs or Microsoft Office completes a background update, it automatically recreates deleted AI binaries. In this video, we use a simple command-line workaround to tweak the registry and permanently stop Microsoft Office AI from coming back.
We will create a custom batch file that targets and deletes the specific AI files (ai.exe, ai.dll, aimgr.exe, aitrx.dll, and mlg.dll) while keeping your primary Office directories stable. Then, we'll set up an automated Windows Scheduled Task to silently run this cleanup once a day, ensuring a 100% permanent uninstall.
