The Remove Duplicates feature in Power Query is a transformation that allows you to remove duplicate rows from a table. This can be useful for cleaning up data, removing duplicate records, or ensuring that your data is unique.
To use the Remove Duplicates feature, you can follow these steps:
Open the Power Query Editor.
Select the table that you want to work with.
Click on the Home tab.
In the Reduce rows group, click on the Remove duplicates button.
In the Remove Duplicates dialog box, select the columns that you want to check for duplicates.
Click on the OK button.
The duplicate rows will be removed, and the other rows will be kept.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when using the Remove Duplicates feature in Power Query:
By default, the Remove Duplicates feature will remove all duplicate rows. However, you can also specify that only the first occurrence of a duplicate row should be kept.
You can also use the Advanced options in the Remove Duplicates dialog box to control how the duplicates are removed. For example, you can specify whether to remove duplicates based on all columns or only on selected columns.
