I had this problem and I noticed other people had this problem as well. I made a very quick tutorial to fix the black borders.
IMPORTANT:
The new version should have a window when installing that says "click this if you see a black border" and that automatically fixes it on next reboot. Some operative systems don't have that option anywhere and you just have to connect the card to your computer and manually edit the "config.txt" file and make sure that "disable_overscan=1" is uncommented, without the "#". That's the manual way.
