How To Remove and Replace 2010 Camry Cabin Air Filter
Hey everybody— Renée here from O’Reilly Auto Parts to show you how to remove and replace the cabin air filter in a 2006 Toyota Camry. Procedures will be similar for most Camry models from 2006 to 2011, but be sure to know the specifics for your vehicle before getting started.
Once you’ve got your supplies together, here’s what you’ll do:
Open your front passenger-side door… and the glove box.
Empty any contents from the glove box.
Disengage the damper on the right side of the glove box by removing the Phillips screw securing it to the post the post.
Squeeze in on both sides of the glove box to disengage it… and lower the whole assembly.
Now you should be able to see the cabin air filter cover.
Press in the tabs on the right and left sides of the cover to disengage them… and remove the cover and tray as a unit.
Slide the old filter and tray out carefully… the top of the filter could be full of dirt and other contaminants.
Compare your new filter with the old one to make sure you have the right replacement.
Clean any dust or debris out of the filter housing with a microfiber cloth.
Install your new filter with the airflow direction arrow pointing down.
Reinstall the filter cover by snapping the tabs into place on both sides.
Lift up the glove box, making sure its hinges are clipped into place at the back… and push in on both sides of the box to reengage the tabs to hold it in place.
Reattach the damper on the right side and reinstall the Phillips screw to secure it.
Replace any items you took out of the glove compartment… and close it.
Shut the passenger door.

How To Remove and Replace 2010 Camry Cabin Air Filter
Hey everybody— Renée here from O’Reilly Auto Parts to show you how to remove and replace the cabin air filter in a 2006 Toyota Camry. Procedures will be similar for most Camry models from 2006 to 2011, but be sure to know the specifics for your vehicle before getting started.
