In this video I show how to re-home the automatic tool changer (ATC) on a SYIL X7 with the Syntec 22MA control.

One of the most common reasons the ATC can lose its correct position is hitting the E-stop during a tool change or stopping the machine while the tool changer is in the middle of a cycle. When that happens, the carousel may no longer be synchronized correctly and normal tool changes can fail.

I walk through the re-home procedure and show how to get the ATC back to its correct home position so the machine can resume normal tool changes.

This video covers:

Re-homing the ATC carousel
Recovering after an interrupted tool change
Common E-stop-related ATC problems
Restoring the correct tool changer position
Getting normal tool changes working again

Machine: SYIL X7
Control: Syntec 22MA
System: Carousel Automatic Tool Changer

If your SYIL X7 starts having tool-change problems after an interrupted cycle, this is one of the first procedures to check.
