Welcome back to our channel, and here is a short video about how to recognize a speaker at home.
Step #1: Heat up the clamping ring. I strongly recommend heating it up from the basket side; this way, you will definitely save your clamping ring from fading and damaging.
Step #2: Next step, you need to heat the surround to condition when the glue will be soft as gum and easy to remove. By heating the glue, it'll also help you remove the glue from the basket.
Step #3: Remove the rest of the glue and use some solvent to prep the surface for the new glue layer.
Step #4: carefully install the new kit and lane up wires to the terminal. You need to solder them in the end.
Step #5: Shim your coil in the magnet gap. This is not a complicated process; just make some strips from a can of Coca-Cola or other drink and install them all around the coil in as many layers as needed to make sure the coil will be centered and difficult to move.
Step #6: Install your clamping ring back and place it, and you can use some paper clips to add pressure to it.
Step #7: solder the wire back to the terminal and glue the dust cap back in place.
