I have a strong passion for film, I never spent 3 years in University doing Film Studies just because I wanted a degree, so when I hear these claims about how there’s a problem with gender and the film/media industry and they turn out to be really dumb things, then it’s kind of a pain to have to see this. I’m not going to deny there isn’t really an issue with Gender equality and the film industry, but when Emma complains about how she was directed by more men and claims its sexist, it completely ignores that there are more male directors then women, if you want more women in the directing role then why not become one?
