Bealtaine, or Beltane, is one of four Celtic Fire Festivals and also one of my favorites. A time of year when the veil thins again, we can spend this time close to those we love both here and beyond the Veil. As a celebration of transition and liminality, fire plays a large role in this festival. It was traditionally a time when cattle and livestock would be driven between two fires to ward against sickness and disease in the coming summer.
I hope you enjoy this rambly kind of vlog-style video. Different than normal but I wanted to do something a bit more casual!

I also want to share how I’m going to be celebrating this year as a Florida witch getting more connected to my own Land — and it’s fitting that, toward the end, the cicadas just would not stop!
