.chart files are the same as .mid files as long as you have the newest version of ghex
get winrar. it just makes everything easier

HOW TO GET MID FILES
1. REGISTER ON SCOREHERO!!
2. login and browse the forums for "custom songs"
3. Scroll down past "Author list" and go about one forth way the page and you see "Song list" This is where you can choose the song you want.
this method only works for the playstation 2 version of guitar hero 2 but if you want to learn to play customs on the 360 go to this link: scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23328
i do not know if i will make a video tutorial about the 360 version because i do not own one. if people want to donate and help me get one however......
a cyclic redundancy check error means that the disc cannot be copied, usually because of scratches. try to clean the disc or try another computer.
p.s. sorry for all the interlace lines, i tried my best to keep them from being picked up
if your computer does not make a window pop up like mine, then go to my computer and explore the disc. if your computer doesnt even read the disc then you need to get a dvd-drive or burner.
