Helvetica is a widely used sans-serif typeface developed in 1957 by Swiss typeface designer Max Miedinger with Eduard Hoffmann, who also had sans-serif type faces.

This pronunciation was created to appease a pharoah in the audience of a VidCon 2014 panel.
