How to Polish 686 stainless steel revolver with mother mag wheel polish. I just grab some of my wife's makeup remover pads then dipped it in the mother's and spent the next hour polishing in small circles rotating the make up pad every time It got dirty to a clean spot and continue to polish the stainless over and over until it became a mirror finish. super easy to do just time-consuming after firing the 686 I was able to take a microfiber cloth while still warm and wipe all the residue off the stainless back to the mirror finished with zero effort to clean. in my opinion it was well worth all the time to keep the 686 shiny and free of residue.
