Having a pool can be a lot of work, but a few simple upgrades can make pool maintenance much easier. This easy plumbing project turned backwashing from one of my least favorite chores into one of the simplest parts of maintaining my pool.
With the right PVC fittings, this can be a quick and inexpensive project that helps make backwashing cleaner, easier, and more convenient. I purchased the pool hose converter adapter from Amazon, and the remaining PVC parts came from a local hardware store.
