You can play PS5 games on your Samsung phone using Sony’s PS Remote Play app, which streams your console’s gameplay to your device while providing controller support and near real-time performance.
Requirements
Before starting, make sure you have:
A PS5 console with the latest system software.
A Samsung phone running Android 10 or higher.
A PlayStation Network (PSN) account, signed in on both your console and mobile device.
Stable internet connection: Sony recommends at least 5 Mbps, with 15 Mbps or higher for smoother gameplay. 5 GHz Wi-Fi is preferable
A DualSense, DUALSHOCK 4, or compatible controller for the best experience, though on-screen touch controls are available
Step 1: Install PS Remote Play
Open the Google Play Store on your Samsung phone.
Search for “PS Remote Play” by PlayStation Mobile Inc. and install it. Alternative sources like APKPure can provide older versions if needed
Step 2: Enable Remote Play on Your PS5
On your PS5, go to Settings System Remote Play.
Toggle Enable Remote Play on.
If you plan to play while the console is in Rest Mode, go to Settings System Power Saving Features Available in Rest Mode and enable both Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS5 from Network
Step 3: Set Up Your Phone
Launch the PS Remote Play app and sign in with the same PSN account as your console.
If you intend to use mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, go to Settings Mobile Data Use Mobile Data in the app and enable it. Streaming over mobile data can use significant bandwidth
Step 4: Pair Your Controller
Turn off your DualSense controller by holding the PS button.
Enter pairing mode by pressing PS + Create buttons simultaneously for 3–5 seconds until the light bar flashes.
On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and select the controller (“DualSense Wireless Controller” appears). The devices will pair automatically afterward
Full DualSense functionality requires Android 12 or higher
Step 5: Connect and Play
Ensure the PS5 is powered on or in Rest Mode if configured.
Open the PS Remote Play app. The app automatically detects your console locally or remotely over the internet.
Select your console to start streaming. Your phone screen now displays the PS5 interface in real time
Use the paired controller to play; audio can also be routed through the controller if it has a headphone jack.
