You can play your PC Steam games on your mobile phone by installing the Steam Link app, pairing it with your PC, and streaming your games over a strong network for smooth, low-latency gameplay.
Step 1 — Prepare Your PC
Install Steam on your computer and log into your account.
Enable Remote Play: Open Steam → Settings → Remote Play → turn on Enable Remote Play
Keep your PC powered on and Steam running throughout your gaming session, as the games are executed on the host PC, not the phone
Step 2 — Download Steam Link on Your Phone
Android: Google Play Store; iOS: App Store.
Open the app, grant permissions (Bluetooth, local network), and tap Get Started
Step 3 — Connect Your Devices
Ensure your PC and mobile phone are on the same network, ideally a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network, with the PC connected via Ethernet to reduce latency
Steam Link will scan for PCs with Steam running, then select your computer.
Enter the 4-digit PIN displayed on your phone into the Steam client on the PC to pair the devices
Step 4 — Configure Controls
Options include on-screen touch controls or Bluetooth/game controllers (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam Controller, Razer Kishi, etc.)
Pair controllers through your phone’s Bluetooth settings if required, then confirm in the Steam Link app.
Step 5 — Test Connection and Adjust Streaming
Steam Link performs a network test to ensure smooth streaming.
Adjust streaming quality: resolution, bitrate, and performance options (Fast, Balanced, or Beautiful modes) based on your network and PC hardware
Reduce lag further by limiting other devices on the network during play, lowering in-game graphics, or disabling vertical sync on your PC.
