This song is the piano version of the soundtrack in the upcoming Chinese martial arts movie Ip Man 3 (葉問) original version composed by Kenji Kawai! It will be released in North American theatres on January 22! This cover has some elements of the music from the original two movies as well as many improvisations of my own.

Like all my songs, Gaoshanliushui just materialized randomly within the inner cortex of my brain. As soon as I begun hitting the notes on my keyboard I knew exactly what to do and where to take it. It has an electronic and rock style to it, hence the genre is Rocktronica. This may be my best composition to date and is definitely within the top tier hands down. I hope you all enjoy it!
In this song, there are many elements that are focused on. From the crazy tremolos and imaging of the sound, to the clarity and presence of the moon guitar, this song overflows with complexity done right. A choir component is also added to certain sections and almost gives a “Alan Parsons - Genesis” vibe to it.
