Each season, we like to do an episode recap to break down what we learned and provide some tips in case you choose to follow in our footsteps. This season—the National Park Blitz—we have a lot to cover: the national parks we visited, the campgrounds we stayed at, helpful resources & apps, hidden gems and tips for visiting national parks with dogs. This episode includes a map of this season's route and all the national parks we visited. We had previously visited the "Mighty 5," including Arches, Bryce and Canyonlands. National parks we were able to "scratch off" our map included Capitol Reef, Mount Rainier, Olympic, North Cascades, Devils Tower and Wind Cave. Yet, the national parks we revisited were even better the second time around! It's impossible to see it all on the first visit. By going back, we can dive a bit deeper and explore further to discover even more.
