How to Connect AirPods Pro to Windows 11 or Windows 10 PC
AirPods Pro work with Windows computers through Bluetooth. You can use them for music, videos, gaming, and phone calls.
Step 1: Put AirPods Pro Into Pairing Mode
Place both AirPods Pro inside the charging case.
Open the lid of the case.
Press and hold the button on the back of the charging case.
Keep holding until the status light flashes white.
Your AirPods Pro are now ready to connect.
Connect AirPods Pro to Windows 11
Click the Start Menu.
Open Settings.
Select Bluetooth & devices.
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Click Add device.
Select Bluetooth.
Wait for AirPods Pro to appear.
Click AirPods Pro.
Wait until it says Connected.
Your AirPods Pro are now paired with Windows 11.
Connect AirPods Pro to Windows 10
Click the Start Menu.
Open Settings.
Select Devices.
Click Bluetooth & other devices.
Turn Bluetooth On.
Click Add Bluetooth or other device.
Choose Bluetooth.
Select AirPods Pro from the list.
Click Done.
Set AirPods Pro as Your Audio Device
After connecting:
Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar.
Select Sound settings.
Choose your AirPods Pro under:
Output device for sound
Input device for microphone
If AirPods Pro Won't Connect to Windows
Try these fixes:
Make sure the AirPods are flashing white before searching.
Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
Remove AirPods from Windows Bluetooth devices and pair again.
Restart your computer.
Reset your AirPods Pro.
Make sure another nearby iPhone is not automatically connecting to them.
Important Things to Know
Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode still work using the AirPods stem controls.
Siri will not work on Windows.
Automatic switching between Apple devices will not work.
Firmware updates require an Apple device.
