RFDHobby | How to Paint Wood, Rust & Rocks for Wargaming Terrain, Tabletop Games and Dioramas @RFDHobby | Uploaded May 2020 | Updated October 2024, 51 minutes ago.
In this quick Wargaming Terrain Tutorial, we focus on painting up our barricades from last weeks video. There's a few tips in here for getting some really cool looking terrain quickly, and with minimal effort. In the video I use a combination of craft paints and Citadel model paints to achieve a really cool look, but you can really pull this off with any similar colours you have in your paint collection. Terrain painting can be very different from painting minis, and it's easy to burn through your expensive paint collection with some of the larger wargaming terrain pieces we make on the channel. So knowing a few shortcuts and when you can get away with using lower quality paints is important. The barricades are constructed from mostly foam and wooden stirrers, so they will take paint really well. The link for the original build tutorial is included below, and in the video. Thanks for watching.
Thanks everyone for watching, and thank you to everyone that has subscribed already to the channel, it really means a lot.
