Did you know you can paint fabric with chalk paint? Learn how to paint fabric with chalk paint in this quick and easy tutorial. Painting fabric with chalk paint is a great way to update stained or outdated uphostered chairs. I saved both time and money by using chalk paint on my chairs with fabric seats.

In this video I take you step by step on how I used chak paint to update four upholstered seated chairs. Just before Easter I looked at these chairs and I KNEW they needed an update! Chalk paint was easy to use on the fabric and the chairs turned out STUNNING!

Supplies Needed to Paint the Fabric with Chalk Paint:
-Water
-Chalk Paint
-Bristle Brush
-Paint Tray
-Drop cloth
-Sandpaper 220 grit
-Annie Sloan Clear Wax

Here's How to Paint Fabric with Chalk Paint:

Step 1: Prepare your fabric to paint with chalk paint
Step 2: Brush Water on the Fabric that will be Painted
Step 3: Apply the paint until on the fabric
Step 4: Apply a Second Coat of Paint if Needed
Step 5: Sand Your Chalk Painted Fabric
Step 6: Apply Wax to your Fabric (Optional)
