Smooth cloaks can make a miniature feel flat and unfinished. In this guide, I show how to paint textured cloaks using cross-hatching and layered colour to give the impression of worn, battle-damaged fabric.
This technique works especially well for veteran units and helps add visual interest without introducing unnecessary complexity.
