I have done a few monochromatic watercolor paintings so I thought it would be fun to play around with a 2 color watercolor landscape painting. I choose complimentary colors for this study as many people find it hard to make them work together. I like combining orange and blues when I want to get more dark greys in my paintings. I did the sky wet in wet to get a nice smooth blend between the two colors and the rest of the painting is done wet on dry. You can find the real time painting on my Patreon linked above.
