Simple tips to organize your photos on Mac:
1. Gather all your photos in the Photos app
To import all your photos, just connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac.
In the Photos app on your Mac, choose your iPhone under Devices in the sidebar and click Import All New Photos.
2. Declutter and remove duplicates

3. Create and customize albums
To create a new album, choose File – New Album.
To use the Smart Albums feature, go to File and click New Smart Album. Then set your rules, like grouping all photos taken on a specific date or images with a certain person in them.
4. Add photos to Favorites
Click the little heart icon to mark important photos as Favorites.
5. Tag people
Click View – Show Face Names.
Double-click a photo and open it.
Click the “i” icon and click Add Faces.
Move the circle to the needed position and adjust its size.
Enter the name and press Return.
Now, you can find this photo under People in the sidebar.
6. Add location information
Double-click the photo and then click the “i” icon. Click "Assign a location" and enter the relevant details.
