One of my students in the BSP Community has limited time to focus on content creation being a mom and juggling all the things, so she asked: “How do I balance platform growth while I’m building out my course?”
Here’s the thing, you don’t have to do “all the things” just because it looks like others are. Figure out what the MAIN goal is and prioritize your daily actions to move the needle towards that goal.
If her end goal is “passive income with course sales” but still wants to attract new followers while building out her course, here’s how I’d prioritize 👇
Growth:
👉🏽 Do some content research to figure out what style of videos are performing right now in your industry
👉🏽 Post one video a week that’s implementing your findings
Monetization:
👉🏽 Focus the majority of your time on the course!
👉🏽 Set a launch date to make sure it happens, no more “launch a course someday”
👉🏽 When you’re getting ready to launch, email your waitlist (which she already has!) set up a DM automation, and create 1 post on Instagram about your course to pin to the top of your profile
Of course there can be a lot that goes into course launch strategy and growing your profile, but just focus on a few key things to reduce overwhelm depending on the season you’re currently in 🧡
