In this video I talk about my quest to become less dependent on the Adobe suite. While I've generally loved their products, I feel like they can pretty much drive up prices when ever they want and people have to pay because there is not much competition out there.

Particularly, if you are a photographer who shoots video - you can either buy the Photography Bundle ($10/months) + Premier CC stand alone ($20/month), or otherwise commit to $50 a month US for the whole suite.
If you don't make money from video it's very hard to justify the extra money (up to 5 times as much) just for a video editor.

This discussion includes my experiments with Davinci Resolve and Capture One and my attempts to stop my reliance on the adobe cloud subscription.
