Learn how to properly mount and install your TenPoint VISION HD digital rangefinding scope on your crossbow. This guide covers what's in the box, the correct mount orientation, attaching the mount to the optic, and — critically for a digital scope — finding proper eye relief so you see the full screen with no dark shadowing before you tighten down and zero.
0:00 What's in the box
0:13 Correct mount orientation: rail forward, optic rear
0:21 Use the recommended torque specs
0:30 Attaching the mount to the optic
0:37 Mounting the optic to your crossbow
0:45 Finding proper eye relief on a digital optic
1:09 Tighten down and get ready to zero
How it works: Your VISION HD comes with the optic, mount, mounting hardware screws, and a wrench. Orient the mount with the Picatinny rail forward and the optic mounted to the rear, and follow the recommended torque specifications. Align the four mounting holes and install the screws to attach the mount to the optic. Then loosen the Picatinny rail screws and attach the optic to your crossbow. Get behind the buttstock as if you're going to shoot and look through the optic to find proper eye relief — on a digital optic, you want to see the entire screen with no dark shadowing around the edges. Once it's right, tighten the Picatinny screws and you're ready to zero.
