**1. Base Blockout (Side View)**
* Go to Side Orthographic view (**`Numpad 3`**) and enable X-Ray mode (**`Alt + Z`**).
* Add a **Cube** (`Shift + A` - **Mesh** - **Cube**), enter Edit Mode (**`Tab`**), and scale it down to fit the top base of the grip right beneath the launcher tube.
* Select the bottom face and press **`E`** to Extrude downwards in 4–5 stages following the general downward and backward angle of the handle.
**2. Shape the Finger Grooves & Curves**
* Add horizontal loop cuts with **`Ctrl + R`** (add 4–6 cuts along the height of the handle).
* Switch to Vertex Select mode (**`1`**).
* Box-select vertex pairs along the front edge and move them (**`G`**) to create the three distinct finger grooves visible in the reference.
* Select the vertices along the back edge and push them outward to create the curved ergonomic palm rest.
**3. Add 3D Thickness & Rounding (Front/Top View)**
* Switch to Front View (**`Numpad 1`**).
* Notice the handle should be thicker in the palm area and narrower near the trigger top and base.
* Select the middle edge loops and scale them horizontally (**`S` - `X**` or along your lateral axis) to create a rounded, oval cross-section rather than a flat box.
* In Edge Select mode (**`2`**), select the 4 corner vertical edge loops running down the grip and press **`Ctrl + B`** to add a subtle Bevel, softening the hard rectangular corners.
**4. Model the Top Mounting Plate & Bottom Cap**
* **Top Plate:** Select the top face of the grip, press **`E`** to Extrude slightly upward, then press **`S`** to scale outward, creating the flat rectangular metal/wood plate that mounts to the barrel.
* **Bottom Base:** Select the bottom face, press **`I`** to Inset slightly, then **`E`** to Extrude inward or outward to form the flared bottom butt of the grip.
**5. Add Screws / Rivets**
* In Object Mode, press **`Shift + A`** - **Mesh** - **Cylinder** (set **Vertices: 8** or **12**).
* Rotate and scale the cylinder down to the size of the small round pins/screws on the grip.
* Position one screw near the top and one near the bottom using the **Move Tool** (`G`), letting the caps slightly protrude from the wood surface.
**6. Smoothing & Refinement**
* Right-click the grip in Object Mode and select **Shade Auto Smooth**.
* For a slightly smoother stylized look, add a **Bevel Modifier** with 1–2 segments and a small limit angle, or use a **Subdivision Surface Modifier** (`Ctrl + 1`) paired with supporting edge loops (`Ctrl + R`) at the hard edges.
