So everyone who's ever seen Brave and/or Braveheart knows that all the men get to wear kilts to show off their tartans. But what are we ladies to do to show our heritage? Look no further! The ruana is a Celtic shawl-type-deal you can use to show off your family line, like Erin and I are going to do for Bicolline!
***DISCLAIMER: This probably isn't the way they would've been worn in actual ancient Ireland/Scotland! Since we're wearing these for a fantasy LARP, we figured we could take some creative license.
******DISCLAIMER TO THE DISCLAIMER: I have recently learned that kilts didn't even exist as a way to show off one's heritage until the 1800s and Braveheart/Brave lied to us. Good thing this is for fantasy LARP and not historical accuracy XD
