In this video I'll show you How to make Wireless AC Voltage Detector Pen or Non Contact Electrical Tester using CD4017 IC as main component. Non contact or wireless AC voltage detector is a very useful instrument/tool for many electricians, it detects the AC line voltage without physical contact which provides safety and also there is no need cut the wire to check either the supply is working or not. In this video I'm going to make this circuit with very sensitive CD 4017 IC, that can detect the voltage even in a very thick insulated wire. I hope this tutorial will be useful for you!
