I really like all those aesthetic wavy rugs I often see on internet. So I have decided to make my own, with my own design and in my own way – without tufting gun. But with a hot glue gun :)
It looks fantastic, it is pretty durable and well secured, so don't worry - it can be vacuumed!
All you need to make it:
a piece of any old fabric (pattern doesn't matter – it will not be seen)
hot glue
acrylic yarn (I prefer acrylic because no animal should be harmed for art and craft). My yarn for this project is 100 g 300 m
and the most important – straight flat objects like a ruler. But I took a palette knife because it was thinner. The height of rug's threads depends on the width of this object. If you want fuzzier rug – use a ruler. Want a flat weaves – use a popsicle stick.
