A crafting tutorial on how to make a skeleton wrapped in animated vines for your tabletop RPGs and wargaming.
The crafts I make are generally aimed for use with TTRPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, but they could easily be used for any role-playing or tabletop wargaming; such as Pathfinder, Star Wars: Legion, and more!

SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED:
~ Scissors
~ Wire Cutters
~ Hobby Snips
~ X-acto blade
~ Liquid Superglue and a glue-safe area to work over (I recommend a jar lid kept around for this type of project)
~ 28mm Skeleton Miniatures - I used these: wargamesatlantic.com/products/skeleton-infantry
~ Thin flexible wire - I used 26 gauge floral wire
~ Raffia (Paper Ribbon or Crepe Paper would also work)
~ Drying rack/stand (I recommend cutting toilet paper rolls to shorter heights)
~ Epoxy Putty (Popular brands are Green Stuff and Milliput)
~ Gloves
~ Sculpting Tool/Pencil
~ Basing Supplies - for me that means railway modeling ballast, ModPodge, and a 1” round base
~ Black and White Spray Paints - I use ‘Krylon ColorMaster Paint + Primer Flat’ for both
~ Paint Brushes (Detail Brush, Wash Brush, Dry Brush, and Glue Brush)
~ A Fancy Palette (really you just need something that won’t let the paint soak in and dry quickly)
~ Paper Towel
~ Water
~ Paint - I used Anita’s Foliage, Vallejo Oily Steel, Liquitex Basics Burnt Sienna, and Vallejo Black Surface Primer
~ Washes - I used Citadel Shade Seraphim and Citadel Shade Nuln Oil
~ OPTIONAL: Painting Handle - I use a bottle half filled with water and a piece of poster tack on the lid
~ OPTIONAL: Matte Spray Varnish - for a final protective coating
