Black Sesame Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
1/3 cup black sesame seeds, toasted
1 T granulated sugar
3 T water
2 packets (0.5 oz) powdered gelatin
2 ½ cups milk
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Directions
1. Place sesame seeds and 1 T sugar in food processor, and grind until thick paste forms (about 2-3 minutes, scraping sides occasionally)
2. Mix together water and gelatin. Set aside.
3. Place milk, sugar, and ½ cup sugar into a saucepot over medium-high heat. Stir continuously until mixture starts to come to a boil. Immediately after mixture starts to boil, add in gelatin and stir until gelatin melts. Remove from heat.
4. Slowly stream in whipping cream while stirring. If desired, strain pudding and cool slightly.
5. Pour into containers or tart shells and refrigerate overnight to set.
