Chain Nose Pliers
Loctite Glue
Beading Needle
📋 Step-by-step Instructions:
✅ Step 1: Measure and cut Knitted Leather Chain to two 4.5inch lengths and glue the ends into a 6mm cord cap.
✅ Step 2: Pass under two knits of chain with your beading needle, on the outside edge, approximately 2mm below the cord cap.
✅ Step 3: Pull the thread through leaving a 7in tail, then tie a double knot with the working and tail side of the thread.
✅ Step 4: Brick stitch with 8/0 seed beads, using the knitted chain as anchor for the thread.
✅ Step 5: Complete a layer of brick stitch using 8/0 seed beads along the outside of the Knitted Leather Chain.
✅ Step 6: Create a second row of brick stitch, using 11/0 delica beads, into the thread bridges of Row 1.
✅ Step 7: Begin a Row 3 of brick stitch using new delica beads. Switch to 4mm fire polish beads about halfway down the SilverSilk hoop.
✅ Step 8: Brick stitch the fire polish beads along the bottom of the hoop. End symmetrically with the starting side. Finish the row with delica beads.
✅ Step 9: Brick stitch a fourth row of delica beads. When you reach the delica to fire polish bead gap, add two seed beads to that thread bridges.
✅ Step 10: Switch back to one delica bead per thread bridge to finish the rest of the row.
✅ Step 11: Weave your remaining thread back into the beadwork to complete your earring.
