Learn how to make the cursor and pointer bigger and more noticeable in Microsoft Word.

First, we will change the cursor’s size and appearance. The cursor is the vertical line that shows the text insertion point.

Then, we will change the pointer’s size and appearance. The pointer is the selection tool, which is usually an arrow, used to perform actions such as clicking buttons and making menu choices.

This tutorial was recorded in Word for Microsoft 365 on Windows 11. These steps also apply to Word 2024, Word 2021, Word 2019, and Word 2016 on Windows 11.
