Welcome back to Budget Boss💸 In this series, we show you how to make delicious meals on the Pit Boss that won't break the bank! We'll also share expert tips and tricks that will help you save time and money when you're cooking for friends and family.

In this episode, we're using the Pit Boss Charleston Griddle and Smoker Combo grill to elevate a comfort classic into a meal worth drooling over: Chicken Bacon Ranch Grilled Cheese. With juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and melty cheese, this is one sandwich that will leave you wanting more. Let's get into it🔥

Recipe:
Ingredients👇
5 chicken breasts
Pit Boss Chicken & Poultry Rub
12 slices thick-cut cherry wood smoked bacon
1 pre-cut loaf sourdough bread (12 slices)
3 blocks (8 oz each) cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, Pepper Jack), shredded and mixed
Butter (for griddling)
Ranch dressing (for dipping, optional)

Instructions👇
1. Preheat the smoker side of your Pit Boss Charleston to 350°F.
2. Season chicken breasts generously with Pit Boss Chicken & Poultry Rub.
3. Place chicken directly on the smoker grates and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
4. While chicken cooks, place bacon slices on a wire rack with a pan underneath to catch grease and prevent cross-contamination. Smoke until crispy.
5. Remove chicken and bacon from the smoker and allow to cool slightly.
6. Shred chicken using Pit Boss Meat Shredders and chop bacon into small pieces. Combine together in a bowl.
7. Preheat the griddle side of the Pit Boss Charleston to medium-high heat and melt butter.
8. Place sourdough slices on the griddle and toast one side until golden, then flip.
9. Add a layer of mixed cheese, a handful of the chicken-bacon mixture, then another layer of cheese. Top with a second slice of sourdough.
10. Place a Pit Boss Griddle Press on top and cook for 3 minutes. Flip, press again, and cook until both sides are evenly golden and the cheese is fully melted. Serve hot—dip in ranch for extra flavor.
