Chapter 3 Episode 2 of How to Make TF2 Maps!
This chapter will cover gameplay theory and concepts for your first Team Fortress 2 map. We'll talk about some of the elements that create a good, fun map, as well as some things to avoid with your first project. By the end of this chapter you should have your first fully working and playable custom TF2 map and the means to get players on it.
This episode we will talk about the various forms of symmetry used in TF2 maps. We explain the differences between mirrored and rotational symmetry, and I show you the trick I use to keep my maps perfectly symmetrical throughout it's entire development cycle. This can help keep a competitive-level symmetrical accuracy.

My weekly game night on the Penny Arcade House of Non-Conformity, where we play a mix of stock and custom maps. This was the first full game night we had since April Fools day, when I released wubwubwub_remix, trainsawlaser_pro, and trainsawlaser_rc2, so we went through a few of those plus a bunch more!
Damon (the voice of Kilgore from Trainsawlaser) was sitting next to me playing on my wifes computer, so you can hear him in the background/ doubled up while hes talking over voice, on occasion.
