It’s been 5 years since our last How to Make a Sticker video, the one that somehow hit 4 million views during the pandemic and is still the most popular video on this channel. Even though this channel is mostly about mountain bikes, that tutorial became one of the most-watched DIY sticker and vinyl decal tutorials on YouTube.
This updated 2025 guide covers everything I’ve learned from more than a decade of designing, cutting, and selling vinyl decals. If you want to learn how to make stickers at home, how to cut vinyl on a Silhouette Cameo, how to prepare vector artwork, or how to weed vinyl cleanly, this video will give you a solid foundation to get started. I also use a Graphtec CE7000-40 at home, which is faster and quieter than the Cameo, but the overall process is essentially the same.
