Floating shelves has always been in style. Today we show you have to make some simple pine boards into some rustic farmhouse style floating shelves. We installed these Farmhouse DIY Floating shelves in our kitchen. For some added character to these DIY Farmhouse Floating shelves, we added some hammered paint to some thin sheet metal strips and nailed those to the floating shelves to give it a more rustic, farmhouse, steampunk industrial feel.
