Drilling holes in wooden rods can always be tricky. Here we see a carpenter's trick to make a simple guide that allows us to drill holes aligned along and with the axis of the wooden rods. And it also allows us to drill holes at 90 degrees to each other. This is a very interesting woodworking technique to make some projects like wooden stools. If we use the right drill bit, we can also use this technique to drill holes in other round materials.
We also see an attempt to make a miter box to cut the wooden rods with the handsaw. It's just the beginning of a woodworking idea, but I'm not sure it's worth it.
