Have you ever made paper flowers with some cardstock and a fantastic craft punch? Are you intrigued?! These gorgeous flowers work so beautifully in card making, scrapbooking, tags, gift bags and more. All you need to make these is the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park builder punch and the cardstock colors of your choice.
The first step in making your paper flowers? Use the Petal Park Builder punch to cut your flowers pieces out of whatever shade of cardstock you desire. You can use a single color or mix and match different cardstock colors for a varied look. Make sure to punch out enough flowers to layer and create a full, dimensional flower.
You're ready to create the dimension once you have all your flower shapes punched out. Lay all the flowers on a soft surface (I love my Stampin' Pierce Mat). Using the style tool on the Take Your Pick Tool or even a pen will work - just give it a gentle press and watch your flowers POP. Now it's time to start assembling your paper flowers.
Layer And Glue Your Flower Pieces: To assemble your paper flowers, start by stacking the largest petal on the bottom, add a dab of glue or adhesive, layer the medium-sized flower, repeat, and add the smallest one. Add your favorite gem or embellishment to the center every flower needs a little sparkle. Add these lovely little flowers to your card.
