If Davinci Resolve is lagging for you, here’s how to fix it
Hit the cogwheel in the bottom right and scroll down to “Optimised media and render cache”
Now make sure you have proxy media resolution set to “choose automatically”
And Proxy media format to “DNxHR LB” if you’re on windows.
If you’re on a Mac, set it to “ProRes 422 Proxy”
Now right click your clips in the media pool and click generate proxy media
Go to “playback” in the top menu, “Proxy handling” and finally “prefer proxies”
