Hey, Sorry for the long break! I am studying now, so I don’t have as much free time to do chemistry!

Anyways, in this video you can see the process of making copper (II) oxide. Footage might be chaotic, it is because I took it from 3 different experiments, I had total of 25GB of raw footage (about 6 hours of video) this was long edit, and sorry if something is too fast of unclear. As always I tried my best to not waste your time too much! :)

Equations:
CuSO4*5H2O + 2 NaOH = CuO + 6 H2O + Na2SO4 (hot)
CuSO4*5H2O + 2 NaOH = Cu(OH)2 + 5 H2O + Na2SO4 (cold)
Cu(OH)2 + t° = CuO + H2O (Copper hydroxide decomposing)
CuCO3 + t° = CuO + CO2 (Copper Carbonate decomposing)
Copper (II) salts:
CuO + 2HNO3 = Cu(NO3)2 + H2O
CuO + 2 HCl = CuCl2 + H2O
CuO + 2 C2H4O2 = (C2H3O2)2Cu + H2O
CuO + 2 C3H4O2 = C6H6CuO4 + H2O
3 CuO + 2 C6H8O7 = Cu3(C6H5O7)2 + 3 H2O
CuO + 2 HBr = CuBr2 + H2O
CuO + 2 C7H6O6S = (C7H4O6S)2Cu + H2O
