Jar ingredients:

1 3/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 cups chocolate chips or divide with M&M's

Instructions for gift giving:

Add 3/4 cup softened butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly blend butter, egg and vanilla.
Empty jar of cookie mix into butter mixture. Mix until completely blended.
Drop teaspoonful of batter about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
Let cool on cooling rack. Enjoy!
