What's up Feasters! Today we bring you an easy to make Yakisoba themed after Anai's recipe from Netflix's Aggretsuko.
INGREDIENTS:
Yakisoba sauce:
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp umami seasoning
6 hotdogs
2 packages dry yakisoba noodles
1/4 cup sweet onion
1 carrot julienned
cabbage (3 leaves)
3 tbsp. peanut oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
To make the yakisoba sauce: combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Cut hot dogs onto octopus shapes.
Cook soba noodles according to packet instructions, but a minute shorter for stir frying.
Heat 2 tablespoons of peanut oil in a wok until smoking hot. Add carrot and onion and stir fry for 30 seconds or so. Add hot dogs and stir fry for another 30 secs. Add extra oil and noodles then pour over yakisoba sauce. Stir fry the noodles for about a minute to allow them to soak up the sauce. Transfer to a serving bowl.
